Dr. Dario Cavallo, assistant professor at the University of Genova had carried out a secondment at ICCAS (3th-14th Dec., 2018). This secondment is a part of the research exchanges in the framework of the project “Synthesis, Characterization, Structure and Properties of Novel Biodegradable Polyesters- BIODEST” funded by the European Commission under the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange scheme - RISE (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017-778092. Duration of the stay, he gave us a talk on “What do polymers nucleate on? --Heterogeneous nucleation of semi-crystalline polymers at various surfaces” and discussed with researchers for potential collaborations.
